Names for Steaks

Postby mycupoftea on Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:16 pm

Hubby came home with two New York Strip Steaks and I quickly went to the food list, only to not find it there. Upon research, I found that it is also called Top Loin, which is okay (Yippee), so, if it is allowed, I am linking you all to the page where I found every name for every steak, so we don't have to guess : http://www.ochef.com/1355.htm
Um, if it's not allowed, I'm sorry - just delete this post. Thanks.

Thanks for the list! The only kind of steak we can eat around here is Ground steak (hamburger) Or "Poor Man's Steak" It is a good recipe, but not SB friendly !!! :lol:
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows . . . .
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
